Weekly Home Reset
3 hours • $199 • Weekly
A recurring weekly service dedicated to getting your home picked up, put away, restocked, and back in order. Each reset is guided by your priorities, with as much accomplished during the 3-hour visit as time allows.
What a Home Reset Can Look Like
A Home Reset isn’t about perfection. It’s about taking the everyday mess that builds up and getting your space picked up, put away, and back to a more manageable baseline.
Example of a SETLAYA-style Home Reset. Results vary based on your home, priorities, and the time available.
Available Reset Options
Each weekly reset is tailored to your home and priorities. Choose the areas and tasks that matter most, and as much as possible will be completed within the 3-hour visit.
Common Reset Tasks
-
Pick Up & Put Away
Everyday clutter picked up and items returned to their usual places. Surfaces can be cleared, shoes and belongings straightened, and commonly used spaces brought back to an orderly baseline.
-
Laundry & Beds
Laundry that has already been washed can be pulled from the dryer or a basket, then folded, hung, and put away. Beds can be stripped and remade when clean sheets and linens are provided.
-
Kitchen & Household
Kitchen and living areas can be straightened and reset, counters and everyday surfaces wiped, sink areas cleared and wiped, crumbs and everyday debris removed, dishwashers loaded or unloaded, appliance exteriors wiped as needed, household trash emptied, commonly used supplies restocked when replacements are available, and basic refrigerator clean-out completed as time allows.
-
Floors & Finishing Touches
Routine vacuuming of accessible carpets, rugs, hardwood, tile, and other vacuum-safe flooring can be included to pick up crumbs, pet hair, lint, and everyday debris. Light dusting of accessible surfaces such as coffee and end tables, dressers, nightstands, and shelves can also be completed as time allows.
Occasional & Seasonal Reset Tasks
-
Clothing & Closet Swaps
Rotate seasonal clothing, swap outgrown children’s clothes for the next size, straighten drawers or closet sections, and put away items that are no longer needed for the current season.
-
Seasonal Item Swaps
Rotate seasonal household items such as pool or beach gear, school supplies, sports equipment, seasonal or holiday items, or other things that come in and out of use throughout the year.
-
Focused Projects
Use part of a weekly reset to organize one small area that needs extra attention, such as a drawer, cabinet, closet section, pantry area, or children’s clothing space, using the storage and supplies already available in the home.
What a Home Reset Does Not Include
A Home Reset is focused on helping your home feel more manageable, not providing traditional or deep house cleaning.
It does not include mopping, scrubbing, carpet stain treatment, detailed cleaning inside appliances other than basic refrigerator clean-out, detailed or high dusting, washing laundry, or large-scale decluttering and organization projects.
Small focused organizing tasks — such as straightening a closet, drawer, cabinet, pantry section, or children’s clothing area using what is already in your home — can absolutely be part of your weekly reset.
A Few Things to Know
- Each Home Reset is 3 hours, and priorities determine what gets tackled first.
- Not every requested task may be completed during a single visit.
- Laundry must already be washed, and clean linens should be provided for bed changes.
- Restocking can be done when replacement household supplies are available in the home.
- Occasional or seasonal projects can be prioritized during a weekly reset, but may take the place of some regular reset tasks that week.
